Job summary

Hyne Timber invites an experienced maintenance professional to lead a dedicated maintenance team at the Tuan Mill, commencing January 2027. The role suits an experienced Maintenance Supervisor or a senior tradesperson stepping into leadership and overseeing safety, reliability and maintenance planning.

You will drive team development, safety compliance and continuous improvement while coordinating shutdowns and contractor work to ensure optimal plant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in a manufacturing setting.
• Trade or engineering background required.
• Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient and reliable plant operation.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the maintenance team.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Drive reliability improvement initiatives across the site.
• Oversee shutdowns and contractor management.
• Foster continuous improvement activities.
