Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Narangba, QLD to lead maintenance operations, ensuring preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use.

You will report to the General Manager of Property and Procurement and work Monday to Friday, contributing to a safe, comfortable home for residents with a focus on cost-aware prioritisation and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance
• Knowledge of OH&S, fire and evacuation legislation
• Ability to manage a range of maintenance tasks and tools
• Willingness to assist with after-hours work
• Strong communication and respect for residents and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and prioritise costs
• Genuine empathy and leadership to inspire the team
• Tech savvy with digital record keeping and comms tools
• Strong problem solving and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations ensuring preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use
• Work Monday to Friday, supported by the General Manager of Property and Procurement Officer
