EPSA Group in Australia is seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our mining maintenance team. You will work on large earth-moving equipment, perform inspections, and carry out preventive maintenance with a strong safety focus.

The role requires a national trade certificate (Diesel Fitter), a current open drivers licence, and willingness to pre-employment medical and drug screening; we offer permanent full-time employment and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Mining maintenance experience with heavy equipment.
• Diesel Fitter trade certificate held.
• Current Australian Open Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug screening.
• Exposure to health and safety processes (S11, JSA, SLAM).
• Ability to complete tasks within set timeframes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair large earth-moving equipment.
• Perform inspections, JSA's, and safety checks.
• Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.
• Work with safety-compliant practices and report issues.
• Collaborate with team and also work autonomously.

• Experience working with large earth moving equipment.


• Experience completing required safety duties such as job inspections, JSA's and SLAM's.


• Proven strong commitment to Health and Safety and communicate any safety or maintenance issues.


• Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance skills.


• You can complete work tasks within set timeframes.


• You are a team player, while at the same time being proactive and able to work autonomously.


• You have a recognised Australian trade certificate.

To be successful you will have:

• Experience in the mining industry with exposure to Mining Maintenance (heavy machinery & equipment).




• Nationally recognised Trade Certificate (Diesel Fitter)




• Current Australian Open Drivers Licence.




• You are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and random drug and alcohol screening.




• Current S11.




• QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment or willingness to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical.
