Job summary

EC Throsby in Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and partner with the Maintenance Manager. You will drive reliability, coordinate tasks and mentor technicians to ensure our facilities run efficiently and safely.

This role focuses on planning, preventive maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement in a seven-day operation. Travel and flexible hours may be required to meet production needs.

• Proven supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Trade background with hands-on technical expertise.
• Experience in processing or production environments is preferred.
• Staff rostering experience and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Hands-on approach with strategic thinking capability.
• Ability to work across seven days.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and mentor maintenance personnel to build their technical capabilities.
• Assist with recruitment and rostering to ensure optimal team coverage.

• Conduct regular maintenance inspections and respond swiftly to breakdowns.

• Monitor and protect the safety of your team and others affected by maintenance work.
• Actively participate in safety consultation and reporting.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team and work closely with our onsite Maintenance Manager. This is your opportunity to develop your leadership skills while ensuring our facilities run efficiently and supporting the growth of your team.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in our operations, coordinating maintenance activities, responding to critical issues, and driving continuous improvement across our site.

What You'll Be Doing
