Maintenance Officer – Churches of Christ Queensland, Residential Aged Care – Toowoomba

About the Role

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Toowoomba location, working within our Residential Aged Care Home you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our seniors living facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll use your skills to carry out repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, as well as supervising and managing a team of maintenance and ground-keeping staff.

This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to the wellbeing of our residents and the smooth operation of our services.

About You

Our ideal candidate is

Essential:

  • Comfortable working within an Aged Care Environment
  • Has a strong knowledge and commitment to Work Health and Safety
  • A minimum two years’ experience as a Handyman, Maintenance or Trade
  • Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
  • Hold a current drivers licence
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor

Desirable:

  • Knowledge or experience using a computer based maintenance management system
