Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Maintenance Shutdown Planner (Concentrator) to lead and coordinate major shutdowns across the concentrator and processing infrastructure. You will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Contractors to develop detailed shutdown plans, schedules and work packs, ensuring readiness and safe, efficient execution.

A FIFO lifestyle from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on an 8/6 roster is available, with a fixed-term 12-month engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning or shutdown scheduling within mining, processing or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of maintenance work management processes and CMMS systems.
• Experience developing work packs, schedules and resource plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate shutdown scopes, schedules and work packs for concentrator maintenance activities.
• Plan labour, materials, contractors and equipment requirements to ensure successful shutdown execution.
• Build detailed work packages including job plans, permits, inspections, quality requirements and risk controls.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure work readiness and minimise operational disruptions.
• Monitor progress, manage scope changes and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records, forecasts and planning information within maintenance systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to future shutdown planning effectiveness.

As our Maintenance Shutdown Planner (Concentrator), you'll play a critical role in the successful delivery of maintenance shutdowns across the concentrator and processing infrastructure.

Working closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Contractors, you'll develop detailed shutdown plans, coordinate resources and ensure work is ready for safe and efficient execution. Your planning expertise will directly contribute to equipment reliability, operational performance and successful shutdown outcomes.

In this role, you’ll:
