Job summary

Service Stream is hiring a Maintenance Scheduler in Clayton, VIC. You will convert planned work into efficient schedules for delivery teams, balancing hazard, defect and maintenance activities with contractual and program priorities.

You will coordinate internal and external resources, monitor capacity, and work with Planning to resolve issues, ensuring timely, cost-aware delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, resource coordination or planning in road maintenance or civil construction.
• Ability to understand cost implications of a programmed schedule and justify decisions.
• Commercial awareness of labour, plant, subcontractors and delivery costs.
• Ability to balance priorities, resources and cost when scheduling.
• Experience improving productivity and resource utilisation in field environments.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and forward work schedules for VRMC maintenance.
• Review planned work, ensuring information, access and dependencies are identified.
• Allocate work to Delivery Teams and Partners by capability and location.
• Optimise sequencing to maximise resources while minimising disruption to road users.
• Manage schedule to meet contractual response times and program commitments.
• Identify scheduling risks and constraints and liaise with Planning to resolve issues.
