Job summary

COSOL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner – Mobile Fleet to join a major open-cut mining operation near Boggabri, NSW. This is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension, supporting the maintenance planning of a large heavy mobile equipment fleet.

You’ll work closely with Maintenance Supervisors, reliability, supply and operations to develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules ensuring work is properly scoped, resourced and ready for execution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated HME maintenance planning experience within the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of mobile mining equipment maintenance.
• Experience developing quality work orders, job plans and maintenance schedules.
• Ability to coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources for planned work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across maintenance, reliability and operational teams.
• Practical understanding of what makes maintenance work genuinely ready for execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules with Maintenance Supervisors, reliability, supply and operations.
• Ensure work is properly scoped, resourced and ready for execution.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize fleet availability and uptime.
• Support the planning of large heavy mobile mining equipment including Komatsu 930-E and Hitachi EH3500AC.

This is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension, supporting the maintenance planning of a large heavy mobile equipment fleet.

We’re looking for someone who knows HME maintenance planning inside out and can step into an operating mine environment, understand the fleet quickly and provide quality planning support from day one.

The Opportunity Working closely with Maintenance Supervisors, execution teams, Reliability, Supply and Operations, you’ll develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules that ensure work is properly scoped, resourced and ready for execution.

The fleet includes Komatsu 930-E and Hitachi EH3500AC haul trucks, CAT water carts and associated heavy mobile mining equipment.

About You
