Job summary

Agrifutures in regional Queensland is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a large-scale food processing site. You will own planning and scheduling across the site, coordinating with team leaders, production and stores to ensure weekly, monthly and shutdown maintenance is fully planned and inspections are completed on time.

Ideal candidates will have a trade qualification (mechanical or electrical), about 5+ years’ experience, strong CMMS capability and proven budgeting/cost-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a trade qualification (mechanical or electrical).
• Around 5+ years' experience.
• Proficient capability in CMMS.
• Strong budgeting and cost management experience, including setting up and tracking budgets.
• Open to candidates from any industry background - priority is trade grounding and capital management skill.
• Full working rights required.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate weekly, monthly and shutdown maintenance schedules.
• Manage the preventative maintenance schedule to keep PM tasks on track.
• Act as custodian of statutory compliance for the engineering department.
• Maintain CMMS data, including PM functions and reporting.
• Support and troubleshoot the CMMS platform, including end-user support.
• Source competitive quotes for spare parts, materials and contract works.
• Manage priorities and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise scheduled jobs.
• Run budget updates, cost-saving initiatives and downtime/asset health reporting.
