Job summary

Argo Natural Resources is seeking a proactive CHPP Maintenance Planner based at Carborough Downs CHPP in Queensland. You will drive equipment availability, maintenance efficiency and compliance by planning preventative maintenance, coordinating shutdowns and optimising maintenance strategies.

Key duties include coordinating with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability teams, applying CMMS expertise, and ensuring tasks are delivered on time with a strong compliance mindset.

Qualifications

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a proactive CHPP Maintenance Planner to drive equipment availability, maintenance efficiency and statutory compliance across our Coal Handling and Preparation Plant. You’ll play a key role in planning and scheduling preventative maintenance, coordinating shutdowns and overhauls, and optimising maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and maximise plant performance. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability teams, you’ll use your CMMS expertise and analytical skills to improve maintenance planning, eliminate recurring defects and support budget and compliance requirements. ABOUT YOU

• Previous maintenance experience within a Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
• Relevant trade and/or engineering qualification.
• G1, G8, G9 and G2 statutory competencies.
• Sound understanding of statutory requirements and maintenance compliance.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organised, self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
