Job summary

MINERAL RESOURCES LIMITED is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Ancil Workshop team at Onslow TMF for a 6-month secondment opportunity. This position is on a 5D 2RR 4D 3RR basis.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling activities to ensure work is prioritized, resourced and ready for execution. You will manage the rolling Week +1 to Week +4 schedule and support daily maintenance execution with accurate CMMS data.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or coordination in mining/heavy-industry environments.
• Ability to balance planned work with changing operational priorities.
• Strong data quality and work-order management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and issue Week +1 to Week +4 maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate labor, parts, tooling and equipment requirements.
• Review rosters and identify resourcing gaps.
• Maintain schedule accuracy with priorities and forward-log items.
• Process P3 JPS, manage work orders and daily SMU updates in Pronto.
• Maintain CMMS data including service intervals and asset information.
• Prepare work packs and stage parts/equipment for maintenance.
• Participate in daily execution meetings and pre-start processing.
• Monitor planned maintenance compliance and component condition information.
• Coordinate transport requests for major components.
• Prepare maintenance KPI reporting and upload docs to SharePoint.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Ancil Workshop team at Onslow TMF for a 6-month secondment opportunity. This position is on a 5D 2RR 4D 3RR basis.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling activities to ensure work is appropriately prioritised, resourced and ready for execution. You will manage the rolling Week +1 to Week +4 schedule, support daily maintenance execution and maintain accurate asset and work-order information within the CMMS.

This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive and able to work collaboratively with workshop supervision, operations personnel and supply partners in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and issue Week +1 to Week +4 maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate labor, parts, tooling and equipment requirements to support planned work.
• Review workforce rosters with the Superintendent and identify any resourcing gaps.
• Maintain schedule accuracy by incorporating changed priorities, deferred work and forward-log items.
• Process P3 JPS, manage work orders and complete daily SMU updates in Pronto.
• Maintain accurate CMMS data, including service intervals, due dates and asset information.
• Prepare work packs and assist with staging parts, tooling and equipment for scheduled maintenance.
• Participate in daily execution meetings and complete pre-start processing requirements.
• Monitor planned maintenance compliance, oil sampling and component condition information.
• Coordinate transport requests for major components where required.
• Prepare work management and execution KPI reporting.
• Upload relevant maintenance documentation to SharePoint.

About you

You will have experience in a maintenance planning, scheduling or coordination role, preferably within mining, mobile plant or another heavy-industry environment. You understand how effective planning supports safe and reliable operations, and can balance planned work with changing operational priorities.

You will bring:

• Experience using Pronto or a comparable CMMS.
• Sound capability with Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Experience coordinating maintenance schedules, labor availability and material readiness.
• A strong understanding of work-order management and data quality requirements.
• Experience processing P3 JPS and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across a range of stakeholders.
• A methodical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
