Job summary

AGL, Loy Yang Mine in Victoria, seeks a Maintenance Planner for an 18-month Fixed Term role within the Maintenance & Outages team. You will develop safe, efficient maintenance plans and work packages, coordinating with maintenance, operations, engineering, procurement and other stakeholders to ensure readiness for execution.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications or engineering qualification or significant relevant experience.
• Maintenance planning experience within a heavy industrial environment is desirable.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms and SAP is highly regarded.
• Experience with Prometheus, MS Project or Primavera is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance plans and work packages per planning standards.
• Prioritise, diagnose and plan work orders for scheduling and execution.
• Manage planning backlog and support operational priorities.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering and procurement to improve readiness.
• Identify improvements to planning standards, systems, tools and processes.
• Assist with scheduling activities and populate maintenance schedules.
• Develop and maintain model work orders and Bills of Materials in CMMS.
• Support planned and unplanned outages and emergency work as required.
• Chair meetings and support planning and work-management processes.
• Promote safe, environmentally responsible and efficient practices.
