Job summary

Airbus Group Australia Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Richmond (NSW) region. The role focuses on capturing, analysing and forecasting maintenance data to optimise resources and schedule tasks.

Candidate will support the MCS/CAMM2 team at RAAF Base Richmond, aiming to meet fleet plan performance indicators. The position requires aircraft maintenance/production planning experience, knowledge of technical documentation, and competence with maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• Previous aircraft maintenance / production planning / scheduling experience.
• Intimate knowledge of aircraft technical documentation.
• Experience using aircraft maintenance management systems and software.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to work in multi-functional teams.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

Job description

Maintenance Planner Location: Richmond, NSW The Role Airbus currently has a fixed term position available for experienced Maintenance Planner. As a member of the RAAF Base Richmond Maintenance Planning and MCS / CAMM2 team, your primary responsibility will be to capture, analyse and forecast aircraft maintenance related data to determine optimal use of resources and task scheduling. You will use this information to drive and support the operational workforce in achieving agreed performance indicators against the aircraft fleet plan. Application Closing Date: 29 September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the induction and delivery of scheduled aircraft


• Identifying, reporting and proposing resolutions for fleet plan variances


• Preparation, issue and audit of maintenance work packages


• Ensuring accurate records of fleet maintenance data are collected, reported and stored


• Working with other teams to capture relevant data to support fleet planning

Key Qulifications & Experience

• Previous aircraft maintenance / production planning / scheduling experience

• Previous experience using aircraft maintenance management systems and software

Other skills which would be highly desirable:

• Experience using CAMM2 as a Data Manager


• Experience in a deeper maintenance aircraft environment


• Experience using Primavera or other similar scheduling software


• Experience using SAP or similar ERP System, and/or Tableau software


• Experience working in a Defence/military environment
