About Foxleigh Mine

Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the Role

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Maintenance Planner at Foxleigh Mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be required to:

• Promote and maintain safety for all employees, ensuring adherence to Foxleigh’s SHMS, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and manage fleet maintenance planning, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.
• Develop and maintain the fleet maintenance business plan aligned with company objectives.
• Create procurement plans to secure essential services, parts, and consumables.
• Negotiate best prices for parts and manage workshop inventory.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships, monitoring contractor performance.
• Monitor and report on fleet maintenance progress, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage the workshop within budget constraints.
• Maintain fleet software records, including mileage, repairs, servicing, and manuals.
• Update maintenance plans and strategies regularly to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
• Update PRT’s as required to ensure accuracy and currency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

• 3 + years background working on heavy mobile maintenance in a mining environment, coal mining is ideal.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Project.
• Experience with mobile plant maintenance and familiarity with Pulse Maintenance Systems.
• Strong communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills.
• An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities.
• Actively investigate enhancements to procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, safety, job satisfaction and productivity.
