Job summary

SK Group is seeking a dedicated painter to perform internal and external painting and ongoing maintenance across properties in NSW. You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and conduct touch-ups, ensuring high-quality results. A strong eye for detail and safety standards are essential for success.

The role is full-time with consistent work and a provided work vehicle. You will work independently, manage your time effectively, and contribute to a supportive team environment while developing

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience in maintenance or property maintenance.
• Understanding of surface preparation and paint products.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Relevant painting qualifications will be highly regarded.

• Preparing surfaces, including sanding, patching, filling and priming.
• Completing touch-ups and ongoing painting maintenance.
• Repairing minor surface imperfections before painting.

Job description

The successful applicant will carry out a range of painting and general maintenance tasks, ensuring properties and surfaces are maintained to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a strong eye for detail and enjoys working in a hands-on environment independently .

Key responsibilities

Carrying out internal and external painting and repainting works

Preparing surfaces, including sanding, patching, filling and priming

About you

Previous experience in painting, preferably in maintenance or property maintenance

A good understanding of surface preparation, paint products and application techniques

A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

Good communication skills and a professional approach

A reliable attitude and commitment to quality and safety

A current driver's license

Relevant painting qualifications and experience in general maintenance will be highly regarded
