Job description

Carey is seeking a full-time Maintenance Officer for a 3-month contract with an ASAP start.

The Maintenance Officer will effectively and safely deliver programmed and unforeseen maintenance across Carey campuses.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role involves carrying out general repairs, supporting event set-ups and pack-downs, and performing routine safety inspections. The role aims to contribute to a safe workplace and learning environment for students.

The primary location is the Kew campus, with occasional moves between campuses.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in building or property maintenance (highly desirable)

  • Attention to detail and initiative
  • Ability to operate small power tools
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork
  • Passion for maintaining outdoor spaces
