Job summary

Regis is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to help keep our aged care facilities safe and well-maintained. You will perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs, undertake preventative and reactive tasks, and manage work orders and contractors to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.

You will contribute to a positive resident experience and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
• Practical skills across building, repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to manage priorities, work orders and respond to issues promptly.
• Understanding of safety, compliance and safe work practices.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home safe, well-maintained and running smoothly through day-to-day maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, manage work orders and contractors.
• Ensure the environment remains safe, tidy and comfortable for residents, staff and visitors.
• Play an important role in supporting a positive resident experience.
