About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our busy manufacturing site. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for keeping plant and equipment running at peak performance, reducing downtime, and building a strong preventative maintenance culture.

You’ll manage a skilled team of trades and technicians, oversee contractors, and work closely with production and operations to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the maintenance team
• Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and minimise downtime
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Oversee CMMS use, schedules, and asset management
• Manage contractor performance and compliance
• Partner with production and operations to align priorities
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
• Support capital planning and improvement projects

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor in manufacturing
• Strong technical knowledge across plant and equipment maintenance
• Familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
• Skilled at leading and motivating teams
• Strong problem-solving ability and practical execution focus
• Contractor management and WHS compliance experience
• Background in plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG (desirable)
