Job summary

Inline Cosmetic Laboratories on the Gold Coast is seeking a trade-qualified fitter turner at our Luscombe site, with flexibility to support other sites. You will install, maintain and repair machinery, respond to breakdowns promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment for cosmetics, healthcare, and veterinary products. Restricted electrical ticket valued; strong problem solving, organisation and teamwork fit well.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified fitter turner with experience in manual lathe/mill.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics) is highly regarded.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostics; sound safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining & repairing machinery for Inline Group sites (Beenleigh, Luscombe, Salisbury).
• Attend to breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.

About the role

We are seeking a trade qualified fitter turner who is based at our Luscombe site, and supports our other sites from time to time. The successful candidate must have experience in machining on manual lathe/mill, stainless welding, pneumatics, strong fault finding and diagnostic skills and sound understanding of safe work practices.

Additionally, experience installing and maintaining machinery in a similar regulated environment (food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic) with mix and fill equipment (fillers, conveyors, labellers, tanks, pumps etc) would be highly regarded.

Key Requirements/Duties

Installing, maintaining & repairing machinery (supporting the maintenance team to provide service to the Inline Group - Beenleigh, Luscombe, Salisbury).

Attend to breakdowns in a timely manner

Self motivator for continuous improvement
