Job summary

Foamex Group in Wodonga is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to keep our polystyrene manufacturing plant running at peak. You will deliver preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance, install and commission new equipment, and drive improvements with the production team.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Quality fabrication and welding skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong initiative, working under tight timescales.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting expertise, welding/fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions to improve machinery across the site.
• Install and commission new equipment or modifications.
• Action outstanding maintenance work requests.
• Recommend and specify equipment requirements.
• Ensure all plant equipment operates efficiently.
• Collaborate with Production to improve reliability and efficiency.
