Job summary

CSR is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for its Minto site in New South Wales. You will work 2:00pm–10:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.

You will perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment, analyze performance, and implement improvements to boost production reliability. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will help carry out scheduled maintenance, fault finding, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to SWMS and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment.
• Familiar with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and safe工作 practices.
• Welding experience with MIG/TIG is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative, scheduled and shutdown maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Complete SWMS before maintenance activities.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Utilise SAP maintenance management system for work orders and data.
• Adhere to safety practices and report hazards or incidents.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Minto site.

You will be working 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required.

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will work closely with the maintenance team to carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across a range of mechanical equipment within the factory. You will also analyse equipment performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency and reliability.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out preventative, scheduled and shutdown maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Ensuring all relevant procedures and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are completed before maintenance activities commence.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve operational performance.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Experience in MIG and TIG welding would be highly advantageous.
• Utilising condition monitoring techniques and the SAP maintenance management system.
• Adhering to safe work practices, identifying hazards, and reporting incidents promptly.
