Job summary

CSR Limited is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for our Minto site in NSW. You will work 2:00pm–10:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime, performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment to improve production efficiency and reliability.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with the maintenance team, utilising SAP PM, and applying safe work practices. MIG/TIG welding experience is highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Carrying out preventative, scheduled and shutdown maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve operational performance.
• Experience in MIG and TIG welding would be highly advantageous.
• Utilising condition monitoring techniques and the SAP maintenance management system.
• Adhering to safe work practices, identifying hazards, and reporting incidents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out preventative, scheduled and shutdown maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Ensuring all relevant procedures and SWMS are completed before maintenance activities commence.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve operational performance.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Experience in MIG and TIG welding would be highly advantageous.
• Utilising condition monitoring techniques and the SAP maintenance management system.
• Adhering to safe work practices, identifying hazards, and reporting incidents promptly.
