Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Kiewa site maintenance team. In this hands-on role you will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production equipment, fault-find, and contribute to continuous improvement.

You will work with the maintenance team, complete SAP work confirmations, and uphold safety standards in a 24/7 operation on a rotating roster. A current electrical licence and experience in food manufacturing are highly regarded.

Qualifications

Current electrical licence with strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments is highly regarded.
Automation, instrumentation, refrigeration, mechanical or dual-trade experience is advantageous.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make sound decisions.
Strong commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
Comfortable working across a rotating roster in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

Complete planned and preventative electrical maintenance across production equipment.
Diagnose electrical faults and respond to equipment breakdowns.
Undertake problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Complete maintenance records and work confirmations through SAP.
Work closely with Mechanical Fitters, production and the wider maintenance team.
