Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking an Electrician for the Kiewa site to keep production equipment running safely and reliably through planned maintenance and rapid breakdown response.

You will diagnose faults, perform root cause analyses and contribute to continuous improvement with the broader maintenance team, while adhering to safety standards and shift rosters.

Qualifications

• Current electrical licence with strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or an industrial environment is highly regarded.
• Automation, instrumentation, refrigeration, mechanical or dual-trade experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make sound decisions.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working across a rotating roster supporting our 24/7 operation

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and preventative electrical maintenance across production equipment
• Diagnose electrical faults and respond to equipment breakdowns
• Undertake problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete maintenance records and work confirmations through SAP
• Work closely with Mechanical Fitters, production and the wider maintenance team
