Primo Foods in Sydney's Chullora site seeks a Maintenance Electrician to ensure safe, reliable operation of our production facility through proactive electrical maintenance.

This full-time role offers day or afternoon shifts with no rotating roster, a salary not less than $79,423 plus super, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licence to practise as Electrician in NSW.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong safety focus and proactive mindset.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative electrical maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, control, power distribution and automation systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults, alarms and breakdowns to minimise production disruption.
• Maintain and optimise PLCs, control systems and electrical infrastructure for consistent operation.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults and recommending long-term reliability improvements.

About the role Primo are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our dedicated onsite team in Chullora. You will directly contribute to the safe and reliable operation of our production facility through proactive electrical maintenance. This is a full-time position with annual salary not less than $79,423.00 plus superannuation.

This role offers an opportunity for work/life balance with no rotating roster. Choose the shift that works for you:

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
• Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2.30pm - 11pm

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative electrical maintenance to maximise equipment uptime Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, control, power distribution and automation systems Respond promptly to electrical faults, alarms, and breakdowns to minimise production disruption Maintain and optimise PLCs, control systems, and electrical infrastructure for consistent operation Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults, participating in root cause analysis, and recommending long-term reliability improvements.

• Strong technical expertise with industrial experience highly regarded
