Job summary

ARYZTA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our engineering team at the brand-new manufacturing site in Stake Hill, WA (Mandurah area). You will ensure safe, reliable operation of all site equipment, covering installation, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown support in a highly automated environment.

You are a trade-qualified Electrician with hands-on experience in complex manufacturing, preferably FMCG or food/pharma, and excellent fault-finding,

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified electrician with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• FMCG/Food/pharmaceutical exposure preferred.
• Electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Experience with CMMS (MEX) is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and ability to work autonomously.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Understanding of 3-phase and single-phase motors.
• Experience with ABB robots, PLC/HMI, and Ignition SCADA is a plus.
• Dual electrical and mechanical qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end equipment performance on the line.
• Provide breakdown support and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and end-of-week shutdown tasks.
• Perform testing, calibration and predictive analysis.
• Identify defects and complete corrective actions.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP, WHS, Environmental, LOTO, Confined Space.

In Australia & New Zealand, our growing business includes three advanced industrial bakeries in WA, VIC, NSW and New Zealand, supported by four distribution centres.

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced shift maintenance electrician to join our engineering team based at ARYZTA's brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Stake Hill, WA (Mandurah area).

The Opportunitiy:

Reporting to the site Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Electrician will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all site equipment. This hands-on role covers installation, preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown support within a highly automated environment, while minimising downtime and supporting production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end equipment performance on the line.
• Provide breakdown support and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance and end-of-week shutdown tasks
• Perform testing, calibration and predictive analysis
• Identify defects and complete corrective actions
• Comply with all site policies (GMP, HACCP, WHS, Environmental, LOTO, Confined Space, etc.)

About You:

You’re a trade qualified Electrician who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting challenges and improving equipment performance with a commitment to smooth, safe operations.

To be successful you will bring:

• Previous experience in providing electrical maintenance support in a complex manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in FMCG/Food/pharmaceutical will be highly regarded.
• Sound Electrical knowledge and experience.
• Experience using MEX or a similar CMMS will be highly regarded.
• Effective Communication with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role
• Competent following electrical schematic drawings.
• Basic Refrigeration knowledge.
• General understanding of pneumatics and Hydraulic.
• Understanding of the 3 phase and Single-Phase motor fault finding and maintenance.
• ABB Robots, Allen-Bradely (PLC/HMI) and Ignition SCADA experience will be beneficial.
• Dual electrical and mechanical qualifications will be a strong advantage.
