Job summary

Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing is seeking a qualified industrial electrician to join our team in NSW. You will maintain and repair equipment, perform preventive tasks, and support new installations in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

The role requires fault finding, reading drawings, and a basic understanding of PLCs. A forklift licence or willingness to obtain one is preferred, with onsite parking, training, and supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with Electrical Trade certification.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs on industrial electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with PLCs and basic automation concepts.
• Proficient with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Committed to safety and process discipline.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and systems.
• Respond to breakdowns, carrying out repairs and installations as required.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to implement maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with teams and management to address equipment issues.
• Utilise CMMS to document activities and track work orders.

The successful candidate(s) will:

• Have relevant qualifications in the Electrical Trade.
  
• Be able to work independently and proactively on preventive maintenance, breakdowns and new installation work.
• Good fault-finding skills and the ability to read electrical drawings.
• Be competent in servicing and maintaining industrial equipment.
• Have a basic understanding of how a PLC operates
• Be familiar with and able to use a computerised Maintenance System
• Communicate with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues.
  
• Be safety-focused and process-driven.
• Have a forklift licence or be willing to obtain it.
• Display positive behaviours in alignment with Sanitarium’s values and be a reliable member of the team.
