Job summary

Iluka Resources Ltd seeks two experienced Maintenance Coordinators to lead maintenance within the CLP area of Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will build and lead a high-performing team and develop maintenance systems during commissioning as the plant transitions to operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams within processing, chemical or mining environments.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and develop technicians.
• Strong experience diagnosing equipment failures and identifying root causes.
• Experience coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance, including shutdowns.
• Understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling and work management.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across maintenance, operations and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team of technicians.
• Manage mechanical and oversee electrical technicians when supervisor absent.
• Coordinate safe and efficient execution of planned/unplanned maintenance and minor shutdowns.
• Lead diagnosis and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Work with area maintenance planner to deliver plans, schedules and priorities.
• Increase planned maintenance during ramp-up to steady-state production.
• Control maintenance costs while ensuring safe, reliable plant operation.
• Supervise contractors on site for mechanical and electrical work.
• Support plant ramp-up, debottlenecking and cost-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain commitment to safe execution of maintenance activities.
