Job summary

Water Brothers Group is seeking a hands-on field professional with experience in water infrastructure, civil plumbing and utility works. The role involves repairing and replacing water services, installing pipework, excavating around live infrastructure, and adhering to WHS requirements across the Sydney metropolitan area.

On completion of required training, a company vehicle will be provided for work use to support day-to-day duties and field operations within the Sydney region.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, plumbing or water infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of underground services and safe excavation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a field-based crew.
• Current drivers licence and Construction White Card.
• Safety focus and reliable work ethic.
• Plumbing qualifications and relevant plant or civil construction tickets are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Water service repairs and replacements.
• Installation and replacement of water services and associated pipework.
• Excavation and exposure of existing services.
• Working around live water infrastructure and other underground utilities.
• Backfilling and preparation for reinstatement.
• Use of small plant, hand tools and plumbing equipment.
• Completing job documentation, photographs and field records.
• Working within Sydney Water, WB Infrastructure and WHS requirements.
• Responding to planned and reactive water service works across Sydney.
