Job summary
Renaissance Info Systems is seeking a seasoned Mainframe CICS Specialist to provide infrastructure support for CICS and MQ environments in a Melbourne-based role. The candidate should demonstrate 10+ years of hands-on experience in CICS, MQ, and related tooling, including CICS TS upgrades, CICSPlex operations, and SSL/troubleshooting skills.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CA SYSVIEW, Omegamon and Mainview, as well as z/OS Connect and zIOA installation, will be essential for daily
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ environments.
- Operations support for Mainframe CICS (CICS & MQ series).
- CICS TS upgrades from lower to higher versions.
- CICS Transaction Gateway, CICS WebServices, and CICSPlex operations.
- Vendor product installation/upgrades, applying PTFs, and CICS SSL setup/troubleshooting.
- Monitoring tools (CA SYSVIEW, Omegamon, Mainview).
- CICSPlex setup (CMAS), MRO region setup, and troubleshooting.
- WebSphere MQSeries on z/OS (v7.1 / v9.0), MQ Clustering, objects/channels/queues, and upgrades.
- z/OS Connect and zIOA installation/configuration.
