Job summary

Jardan Australia seeks a full‑time Team Leader to oversee the Machining department at our Scoresby HQ. Lead a skilled team, optimise workflow, and maintain strict safety and quality standards while meeting daily production targets.

You will provide hands‑on technical support for machine set‑ups, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced furniture manufacturing environment, including CNC and 5‑head moulding technology.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and drive team engagement.
• Strong attention to detail with a right‑first time approach to timber machining.
• Effective communicator, liaising between factory floor and senior management.
• Skilled in problem solving, resolving technical/machine challenges in a fast paced environment.
• Prior experience in timber machining or furniture manufacturing, including CNC and 5‑head moulding technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and mentor the Machinist team to achieve daily production KPIs and quality standards.
• Facilitate daily Toolbox Meetings to communicate objectives, safety notices, and production shifts.
• Foster a department culture rooted in teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement.
