Job summary

Metroll is seeking a Machine Operator for its Lismore location. This casual position offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a six-month probation and potential transition to permanent full-time employment.

Hours are 8:54 AM to 5:00 PM. A current forklift license is essential. Training will be provided on products and systems; overtime may be required to meet deadlines, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine operation.
• Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work to deadlines and be available for overtime when required.
• Honest, reliable and punctual.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee metalworking machinery to production specifications.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure correct setup and output.
