Job summary

Drake International is seeking Production Operators for a Matraville-based manufacturing site. You will support daily production activities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

The role operates on a 12-hour rotating roster (7:00am–7:00pm and 7:00pm–7:00am) with opportunities for overtime and ongoing employment; extensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Forklift Licence (LF) required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transport.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct routine inspections and basic equipment checks
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Report hazards, incidents and quality issues promptly
• Assist with changeovers, cleaning and general production duties
• Safely operate forklifts where licensed and required
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete production documentation accurately

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Forklift Licence (LF)
