Job summary

Green Genie Earthworks | Contracting | Civil is seeking an experienced machine operator for full-time work across Perth. You will operate skid steer, posi track or excavator, perform bulk earthworks, site prep and material movement, and maintain machinery to ensure safety and productivity on site.

You will follow supervisor instructions, collaborate with the crew to meet deadlines, and handle general site duties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating relevant machinery.
• Strong understanding of site safety protocols.
• Able to perform physical tasks in all weather conditions.

Off the back of a strong pipeline of work - defence projects, commercial jobs big & small and residential projects of every size - we're looking for an experienced, reliable operator to join us full-time across Perth. Big variety of work and real scope to take on more responsibility as we keep growing.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operate skid steer, posi track and/or excavator machinery
• Carry out bulk earthworks, site prep and material movement
• Maintain machinery and ensure safe operation at all times
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines
• Perform general site duties and clean‑up as required

What you’ll need:

• Current white card
• Proven experience operating relevant machinery
• Valid tickets and licences for the machinery operated
• Strong understanding of site safety and protocols
• Able to perform physical tasks when required, through all weather conditions
• Punctual, reliable and respectful
• Pass a drug/alcohol test and pre‑employment medical
• Full working rights in Australia
• Police clearance
