Benmax Group in Canberra is seeking a hands-on operator to run parts for AI infrastructure builds. You’ll set up machines, read drawings and work instructions, dial in settings and monitor cycles to ensure first-time quality.
No formal qualifications are required to start. The role offers stable, long-term work, weekly pay, free onsite parking and training to build a trade career. You’ll join a team proud of the parts they turn out and the standards they maintain.
Imagine being part of the team building the backbone of Australia's AI revolution. Benmax has been trusted for 40 years to deliver exceptional mechanical services, and now we're taking on some of the most exciting projects in the country. This is your chance to play a role in something big and grow your career while you do it.
Our Queanbeyan, NSW workshop makes the parts that go into AI infrastructure builds. You'll run the machines that produce them, and you'll make sure every piece leaves the floor right the first time. No qualifications needed to start.
Your day starts with a set of drawings and a job to get through. You'll set up the machine and tooling, dial in the settings, check your material, then run the cycle and keep an eye on it. If something looks off, you pull it up early. Between runs you'll swap tooling, check your work against spec and log what you've done. On the more technical set-ups you'll have a qualified tradesperson beside you showing you how it's done. Clear standards, steady work, and a workshop where people take pride in what they turn out.
