Job summary

Orora in Ballarat is hiring for a manufacturing operator role, reporting to the shift supervisor on a 12-hour rotating shift (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am). The role focuses on maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards while operating high-speed machinery and supporting changeovers.

You will read and follow SOPs, contribute to continuous improvement and work as a proactive, engaged team member to help achieve world-class operational performance.

• Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
• Operating high speed machinery including changeovers, troubleshooting, machine adjustments, maintenance tasks
• Assist in machinery changeovers
• Reading & following SOPs
• Contributing to continuous improvement and achieving world class operational performance.

Job description

Reporting into the shift supervisor and working a 12hr rotating shift 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards

Operating high speed machinery including:

• performing changeovers
• troubleshooting
• machine adjustments
• maintenance tasks

Assist in machinery changeovers

Reading & following SOP's

Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance.
