Nixil Pty is seeking a Machine Learning Specialist in Canberra to develop and operationalise reliable ML solutions for national security capabilities. You will work across data preparation, modeling, deployment, and monitoring within secure environments.

The role emphasizes building robust pipelines, validating models, and ensuring reproducible workflows while maintaining compliance with security requirements. This is a fixed-term engagement with start in March 2027 and end in June 2027.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering machine learning solutions through development and deployment.
• Strong Python, SQL and machine learning framework skills.
• Experience with model validation, versioning, monitoring and reproducible workflows.
• Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD and secure development practices.
