Job summary

Emmbr seeks an experienced M365 Engineer to own complex Microsoft 365 and End-User Computing projects in Melbourne or Sydney. The role centers on Intune, SCCM transition, and maturing the modern workplace across Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

You will mentor a junior Systems Administrator, work hands-on on challenging EUC initiatives, and collaborate with security and IT operations to deliver tangible improvements to our technology environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as an M365 Engineer or similar Microsoft-focused role.
• Deep Intune administration and engineering experience.
• Strong End User Computing and modern workplace knowledge.

• Manage and optimise Intune as the organisation expands its modern device environment.
• Support the transition from SCCM and legacy Group Policy towards Intune.
• Improve the SOE and broader end-user computing environment.
• Support Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and the broader M365 environment.
• Take ownership of complex M365 and endpoint escalations from Service Desk.
• Work with Security across patching, endpoint controls and related initiatives.
• Mentor a junior Systems Administrator and provide technical guidance.

You'll take ownership of the more complex M365 and endpoint challenges, help mature the Intune environment and support a range of upcoming technology projects.

This is a hands‑on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving problems properly, improving environments and bringing new ideas to the table.

About You

• Good PowerShell scripting skills, particularly across Intune and application deployment.
• Experience with application packaging, SOE management and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Experience moving from SCCM / Group Policy towards Intune would be highly regarded.
• Exposure to Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform, networking or security would be beneficial.
