Job summary

Alanakristian in Rose Bay, Sydney, a five-star salon and official Kérastase institute, seeks a Salon Assistant to greet clients, support stylists and help keep the salon pristine in a fast-paced luxury environment.

You will learn from experienced professionals, assist with colour prep, foils and blow-dries, and contribute to stock, bookings and social content, with in-house and L’Oréal academy training available.

Qualifications

• A warm presence with a genuine passion for hair and service.
• Immaculate presentation that reflects the salon's polished aesthetic.
• Reliable, punctual, and happy to take direction and feedback.
• Eager to learn and grow in a high-end environment.
• Previous salon experience is an advantage but not essential for the right person.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly, offer refreshments and look after them throughout their visit.
• Shampoo, conditioning and basic treatments.
• Assist stylists with colour preparation, foils and blow-dries.
• Keep stations, tools, towels and the salon presentation immaculate.
• Help with stock, retail displays and restocking.
• Answer the phone and support bookings.
