Job summary

Alanakristian in Rose Bay, Sydney, a five-star salon and official Kérastase institute, seeks a Salon Assistant to greet clients, support stylists and help keep the salon pristine in a fast-paced luxury environment.

You will learn from experienced professionals, assist with colour prep, foils and blow-dries, and contribute to stock, bookings and social content, with in-house and L’Oréal academy training available.

Qualifications

• A warm presence with a genuine passion for hair and service.
• Immaculate presentation that reflects the salon's polished aesthetic.
• Reliable, punctual, and happy to take direction and feedback.
• Eager to learn and grow in a high-end environment.
• Previous salon experience is an advantage but not essential for the right person.
• Right to work in Australia.

We are a busy five- star salon located in one of Sydneys most affluent suburbs and an official Kérastase institute. Proudly representing global brands such as Kérastase and L’Oréal we are looking for someone experienced in the service industry, confident and comfortable working with high- profile clients in a fast paced luxury environment to join our team.

The role

As our Salon Assistant, you'll help every client feel welcome and looked after, and keep the salon running beautifully. You'll work closely with our stylists and learn from a team with a great depth of experience

Your day to day

• Greet clients warmly, offer refreshments and look after them throughout their visit
• Shampoo, conditioning and basic treatments
• Assist stylists with colour preparation, foils and blow-dries
• Keep stations, tools, towels and the salon presentation immaculate
