Job summary

Kate Spade New York Homebush DFO in Sydney is seeking a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our fast-paced premium retail team. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, lead and inspire the team, and ensure operational excellence across all store aspects, delivering outstanding customer experiences while embodying the brand values.

You will mentor colleagues, manage rosters, support visual merchandising, and foster long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sales Associate within fashion, apparel, accessories, or premium retail.
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve KPIs.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Structured roster (Tuesday to Saturday).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPIs, and store profitability.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and styling experiences.
• Inspire, coach, and develop team members to maximise performance and engagement.
• Drive clientelling initiatives and foster long-term customer relationships.
• Assist with roster management, workforce planning, and daily store operations.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards reflect the Kate Spade New York brand.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, stock management, and loss prevention practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration and accountability.
• Act as the Store Manager in their absence.
