Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the In-Room Dining and Mini Bar team, delivering personalised service that reflects the hotel’s luxury standards.

The role oversees daily operations, staff, menu execution, stock management and collaboration with Culinary, Front Office and Housekeeping, while maintaining food safety and expense controls in a five-star environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in premium or luxury F&B operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of wine, champagne, beverage operations and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire the In-Room Dining & Mini Bar team to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee daily operations including service flow, staffing, menu execution and presentation.
• Create memorable experiences for VIP and high-profile guests, anticipating needs with warmth.
• Monitor guest feedback and resolve service opportunities.
• Drive team performance through coaching and example.
• Manage Mini Bar stock, inventory, revenue controls and departmental costs.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping and wider F&B teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, WHS and hotel standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
