Job summary

Abercrombie & Kent is seeking an experienced leader to drive tour series programs in Australia and New Zealand. You will own end-to-end planning, pricing, supplier relations and client outcomes while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

You will lead product selection, manage costings and ensure profitability. This role supports hybrid work from our Melbourne base and offers continued development opportunities within a global luxury travel brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the travel industry, with leadership experience.
• Experience with inbound tour operator groups and supplier negotiations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement group tour programs.
• Strong knowledge of Australia and New Zealand travel products.
• Detail oriented with solid financial and pricing skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end tour series operations including inventory, flight bookings and staffing.
• Monitor operations, manage risks, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations for third-party tour series opportunities with feasible pricing.
• Lead product selection with internal/external stakeholders for viability.
• Maintain accurate tour costings and brochure information for profitability.
• Plan and deliver tour programs from inception to completion.
• Serve as primary contact for tour series operational matters.
• Manage a team and coordinate with stakeholders; escalate emergencies on tour files.
• Participate in weekend duty emergency phone on a rostered basis.
