Qualifications

• Previous Airbnb/holiday accommodation housekeeping experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and high presentation standards
• Experience making and presenting beds professionally
• Confidence using commercial washing machines and dryers
• The ability to work independently and follow a detailed checklist
• Reliable transport and a mobile phone
• Contactable references from previous cleaning or housekeeping work

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitise bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
• Strip used bed linen and remake all beds neatly with fresh linen
• Wash, dry, fold and organise linen and towels onsite using commercial washing machine and dryer
• Identify and report stained or damaged linen and towels
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors and other accessible glass surfaces to a streak-free standard
• Clean showers, toilets, vanities, baths and bathroom fixtures
• Clean kitchen benches, sinks, cupboards and appliances
• Check and clean the stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher as required
• Wash, dry and put away dishes or unload the dishwasher
• Vacuum and mop all floors, including stairs
