Job summary

Norton Gold Fields Limited is seeking a Lubrication and Reliability Technician to join our Maintenance team at the Paddington Processing Mill in Western Australia. You will perform preventative lubrication, monitor equipment condition and support reliability of fixed plant, reporting faults and assisting with data analysis.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and collaboration with Maintenance, Plant Operations and Stores.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in mine site fixed plant maintenance.
• Current, unencumbered WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Mechanical knowledge of pumps and compressors.
• Experience applying lubrication schedules, oil sampling and analysis.
• Understanding of lubricant types, applications and waste oil/grease management.
• Proactive approach to identifying hazards and reporting irregularities.
• Elevated Work Platform / Working at Heights ticket desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completing scheduled lubrication and preventative maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment.
• Inspecting and servicing components, identifying changes in equipment condition and reporting faults.
• Collecting oil samples and assisting with interpretation of sample results.
• Maintaining and replacing lubrication components and equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues with the maintenance team.
• Collecting and analysing equipment data and maintaining maintenance records.
• Coordinating tasks and handovers with Maintenance, Plant Operations and Stores.
• Supporting shutdown maintenance activities as required.
• Maintaining safe work areas and managing waste oil and grease responsibly.

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will carry out preventative lubrication maintenance, monitor equipment condition and support the reliability of our fixed plant. This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Completing scheduled lubrication and preventative maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment.
