Norton Gold Fields Pty Ltd is seeking a Lubrication and Reliability Technician to join the Maintenance team at the Paddington Processing Mill in Western Australia. This hands-on role reports to the Mechanical Supervisor and focuses on preventative lubrication, equipment condition monitoring and reliability of fixed plant.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in mine site fixed plant maintenance.
• Current, unencumbered WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
• High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation.
• Mechanical knowledge of pumps and compressors.
• Experience applying lubrication schedules, oil sampling and analysis.
• Understanding lubricant types, applications and waste oil/grease management.
• Hazard identification and reporting equipment irregularities.
• Elevated Work Platform and Working at Heights tickets desirable.
• Senior First Aid qualification desirable.

• Coordinating tasks and handovers with Maintenance, Plant Operations and Stores.
• Supporting shutdown maintenance activities as required.
• Maintaining safe work areas and managing waste oil/grease.

ROSTER: 5:2 (Residential to Goldfields)

Norton Gold Fields is seeking a Lubrication and Reliability Technician to join our Maintenance team at the Paddington Processing Mill.

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will carry out preventative lubrication maintenance, monitor equipment condition and support the reliability of our fixed plant. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Completing scheduled lubrication and preventative maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment.
• Inspecting and servicing components, identifying changes in equipment condition and reporting faults.
• Collecting oil samples and assisting with the interpretation of sample results.
• Maintaining and replacing lubrication components and equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues alongside the maintenance team.
• Collecting and analysing equipment data, maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Working closely with Maintenance, Plant Operations and Stores to coordinate tasks and equipment handovers.
• Supporting shutdown maintenance activities as required.
• Maintaining safe work areas and managing waste oil and grease responsibly.

YOU WILL BRING:

• Demonstrated experience in mine site fixed plant maintenance.
• A current, unencumbered WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
• A High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation.
• A mechanical trade qualification (desirable)
• Mechanical knowledge of pumps and compressors.
• Experience applying lubrication schedules, oil sampling and analysis.
• A sound understanding of lubricant types, applications and waste oil and grease management.
• A proactive approach to identifying hazards and reporting equipment irregularities.
• Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights ticket (desirable)
• Senior First Aid qualification (desirable)
