Job summary

Princes Hill Secondary College seeks a conductor/ensemble director and lower brass instrumental instructor to join the music department. The role is a fixed-term contract in ES Level 1 Range 4, commencing in 2027, with an expected schedule of about 7 hours per week including one weekly rehearsal and split tuition across instrumental and theory.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons from Years 7 to 12, lead the intermediate concert band, and may be split into multiple positions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in instrumental music programs across Years 7–12.
• Ability to design and implement individual or group programs for students.
• Commitment to planning and delivering lessons to suit a range of learners.

Responsibilities
