Qualifications

• Development experience in either Java or C++.
• A scripting language, preferably Python.
• Experience working in a High Frequency Trading or low-latency trading environment.
• Experience working across both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and market data distribution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in financial markets.
• Strong academic background in Computer Science or related field.
• Exposure to ITCH, OUCH, FLEX, Arrowhead, JGATE, OMNET, FIX.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain low-latency connections to global trading venues.
• Manage and coordinate connectivity with a variety of FIX brokers.
• Manage exchange upgrade and onboarding projects.
• Monitor and analyse exchange-facing and market data components.
• Work flexibly across real-time production issues and longer-term projects.
• Performance tuning across market data and order routing systems.
