Qualifications
Development experience in either Java or C++.
A scripting language, preferably Python.
Experience working in a High Frequency Trading or low-latency trading environment.
Experience working across both Windows and Linux environments.
Strong understanding of network protocols and market data distribution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Genuine interest in financial markets.
Strong academic background in Computer Science or related field.
Exposure to ITCH, OUCH, FLEX, Arrowhead, JGATE, OMNET, FIX.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain low-latency connections to global trading venues.
Manage and coordinate connectivity with a variety of FIX brokers.
Manage exchange upgrade and onboarding projects.
Monitor and analyse exchange-facing and market data components.
Work flexibly across real-time production issues and longer-term projects.
Performance tuning across market data and order routing systems.
