• Plan and implement lessons aligned with the 2018 Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards and Grade-Level Benchmarks for Physical Education.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• Connect content to real-life situations.
• Support students in developing independence and decision‑making skills.
• Align instruction to standards within the four focus areas.
• Plan and implement lessons aligned with the 2018 Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards and Grade-Level Benchmarks for Physical Education.
• Promote engagement in consistent, moderate to vigorous aerobic and/or muscle- and bone‑strengthening physical activity.
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to measure student progress toward meeting grade-level benchmarks.
• Make a direct impact by equipping students with skills they will carry into high school and beyond.
