Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the effective delivery of supply, stock control, and distribution services at our Alice Springs sites in Australia. You will ensure accurate handling, storage and movement of inventory across multiple locations in line with procedures, safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves receiving and issuing goods, maintaining inventory records, supporting procurement and disposal activities, and collaborating with internal teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in relevant computer software and applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a dedicated team.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's License.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process inbound consignments with accurate documentation.
• Perform deliveries of stores within the site and warehouse.
• Package, palletise, and dispatch inventory using various transport modes.
• Prepare dispatch documentation including AMC flights; perform SAP transactions.
• Report stock discrepancies and conduct stock takes.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and notify incidents.
• Provide customer supply counter assistance and respond to inquiries.
• Any other reasonable duties as required.
